POINT TO POINT
The 2nd Event in the Loadstone Series · Up to 28km · Brecon Beacons
The ultimate test of your physical determination and personal navigational skills. The perfect backdrop to discover natural team building skills and perfect your team leadership.
This is a 23–28km navigational “Point to Point” exercise deep in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. Its tough nature is well known amongst those who have completed it with testing terrain and the requirement to think under pressure in order to find the best route to the next checkpoint.
With interim checkpoints spread across the Brecon Beacons you will be assigned to a patrol and given a grid reference at the start point to the first checkpoint and then your next destination will be given when you reach each checkpoint. The 23km distance is as the crow flies and so you and your patrol must find the most efficient route in order to complete and reach your final checkpoint location.
Can you think on your feet? Keep your head whilst under pressure? Do you have the mental agility to think on the move and lead a team using your navigational experience? Point to Point will test all your leadership skills, both physically and mentally.
On successfully finishing the course you’ll be met by the DS and awarded your custom patch and certificate of completion.
